Facing off against the "living fortress" Dah'ren Mohran any hunter would have a sense of dread or just fear of going against the unknown! A monster capable of shooting spikes and boulders at you though some back cannons and the ability to impale you,crush you,or ram you this monsters arsenal of weapons and defenses as well as just the insane size of this sand whale,which is bigger than your ship by the way,would leave many a hunter with the thrill of the hunt and the expectation of a worthy opponent. But that was not the case here!
Alright so I was expecting this quest to get me killed or cause a few carts here and there but no. It was just two of us and our two Palicoes and we managed to take down the Dah'ren Mohran. Was the fight fun? Not really...it was just us using cannons and one of us shooting it back or using barrel bombs on him to get him away from the town. Aside from shooting at its legs and before shooting at its back....the first part of this fight reminded me of the fight against Deathwing from WoW and the last part as well since we are just smacking its legs! I'm guessing this was just an easy Dah'ren Mohran instead of the real thing! Hopefully there is a quest later on that is super difficult and makes the hunt fun because the last thing we did was use the dragonator ONCE and it got taken down pretty easy.
The only real good thing that happened is that I reached HR4 and have access to the high rank quests! TIME TO PLAY WITH THE BIG HUNTERS! Somewhat! Some of the hunters are giving me a bit of trouble....well more trouble than the monsters if you read here! But that's fine it's all part of the game and for all I know they are completely new to the game! Disappoints me though when you put that much time and effort into NOT dying and someone just goes Leeroy Jenkins on a monster and gets us a big old QUEST FAILED! I'm not going to lie though I really do like his weapons and armor...they look pretty freaking cool!
