Recently I've been helping two fellow hunters out with getting sets and ranking up,which is also why I haven't written sorry,and recently we ALL got the Zinogre S sets right? It made their life ranking up easier and we managed to hit rank five close to six together! Now we recently tried to do the triforce event quest to get the set of links armor but failed at the unicorn! So we go and try to take on ONE monster...Akantor! We walk in and everything is going fine right? I mounted him and dropped him as well as the other two hunters when it all went to shit! Akantor went into its rage mode and started shooting hyper beams left and right as well as body slams! Those body slams are just intense! I was the last one to get crushed and let me tell you...this dudes heavy! Needless to say we carted three times pretty quickly! We've tried multiple times to defeat this guy even bringing along a friend with way better gear only to be met by the same results! This is somewhat disturbing but at the same time we are more determined to get to G rank and make those stronger weapons to take him on! Yeah skill plays a big part but having better weapons than what we already have will probably help in the long run! What about you guys? Has Akantor given you all trouble? Also what is it with this guy and Zinogres tails never wanting to detach from the body?! I swear I had been slashing at Akantors tail for a good fifteen minutes along with my other buds and the thing is still on! Damn that tail is just....super glued or something! But yeah feel free to share your tactics against this brute of a monster while I go back to ranking up and hopefully hitting G rank by tonight! As always happy hunting! :D
