Alright my fellow hunters! After having played a bit of online so that I'm kinda on the same page in Caravan and Gathering Hall quests I've noticed something that truly...disturbs...me! It's not just me though there are other hunters out there I am sure who have noticed these acts of absolute and total disregard for common courtesy! I have seen fellow hunters enter a Gathering Hall and completely disregard everyone and run straight to the quest lady to pick a quest THEY want to do! If you are NOT the person hosting the hunt then you should ask if you can choose the quest! If you need help on an urgent quest please ask for all you know it won't be a problem! If you want to farm a certain monster ask and you shall(maybe) receive! If not then just say "no problem" and leave the hall for another one or make your own!
Another thing is say hi! Greet your fellow hunters! It's not mandatory but if you want to find long term hunting buddies then it's best to be friendly! It won't hurt your chances right? Also ASK if you want to add us to your friends list or exchange guild cards! It's polite and usually most hunters are fine with adding you or exchanging cards! But please just ask! If you fail or die or someone dies in your hunting group don't rage at them! It might just be bad luck as we have all had that one moment when that damn monster is out to get us and only us! Try again and if you notice they are doing it on purpose like not healing or just standing there then you can kick the person out!
Also to those hunters that are new to online play...certain weapons like the longsword,hammer,and so on can knock players down! Try to keep an eye out for how close you are to another hunter or how close you are getting to a hunter! Respect their space to swing their weapon because if you don't then either you or the other hunter will be knocked down multiple times and this is really annoying! It's also making it so that the monster takes less damage and for all you know that charged up hit from the charge blade user would have finished it but no! Now it's in rage mode and flying off!
Try to also help the other hunters do their urgent quests to rank up if they need it! Especially if they helped you do yours! I've seen hunters get help from some friends and me and then when it's our turn to do our urgent they just take off! If someone takes the time to help you out to do your urgent and they need help with theirs at least return the favor for one of them! You can say your goodbyes after that and go on your merry way!
Lastly at the end of each successful hunt congratulate your team members! It feels nice to be appreciated especially after having taken down a particularly difficult monster without dying or rage quitting! We are hunters after all and without each other(save for a few hardcore hunters) we wouldn't have been able to take down this G rank monster! Not this efficiently anyway.
I think I covered most of the more noticeable bad habits hunters are developing and some that would be nice but we can live without them! Did I miss anything? Care to share some of your encounters with a rude hunter? Comment and tell us! We want to know! :)
